The F-4EJ was deployed a day after the outbreak or "Z-day" began in the city. This aircraft is first shown flying over Tokonosu City, taking photos of the surrounding area for some unknown reason, most likely for military assessment. It is assumed that governmental and military activities were in full swing, and that the infected were effectively quarantined in the side of the city.

Overview[]

The F-4EJs and F-4EJ Kai's were used by the Japan Air Self-defense force. For all-weather high-speed tactical reconnaissance purposes, modified F-4 models were fitted with a new nose containing the gigantic HIAC-1 LOROP long-range camera with a 66-in (168 cm) focal length as well as a vertical KS-87 camera. The unbelievably impressive LOROP (Long Range Oblique Photography) camera, is capable of taking high-resolution still images of objects up to 100 miles (160 km) away at supersonic speed.
